A two day event at Whipsnade Park Golf Club in Sunny Autumnal weather brought some great golf and excellent competition. The Friday saw a Pro-Am which was a clean sweep for the home team headed up by Assistant Professional Noel Quinn with his individual score of five under being only two higher than the twenty year old course record held by another Hertfordshire Pro Andy Clapp. This coupled with an excellent supporting team won the team event by seven points one of the largest margins.

The Championship on the Friday again found and excellent course set up made more difficult by a cold south easterly wind, especially in the morning round accounting for higher scoring than the day before. However another five under par from Bobby Mitchell saw of the competition in the afternoon round , despite tremendous consistent golf from Andrew Hurley being six under from 54 holes over the two days.
